VICINITY OF EL ENCINO, Tamaulipas, Mexico -- I cannot remember where this was taken. Judging from the topography here, I'm pretty sure it is on a stretch of Mexican Highway 85 north of El Encino, probably near the Tropic of Cancer. You can see that the scrub woodland on the uplands gives way to desert vegetation in the valleys below.
